It’s about relationships. People come together around food, and for that to happen, the people producing the food have to stay in business.
After falling in love with foodservice and farms over a decade ago, I realized the deep need for specialized financial record-keeping in those fields. As a numbers person, I managed inventory on an organic farm, and used that experience to begin to help other small food businesses untangle their finances.
My passion is to empower farms and small food businesses with clear data about where their money is coming and going. This enables them to make better decisions about their businesses so that they can keep feeding the people around them, profitably, for years to come.
